Our history in a nutshell
We started our journey in 2000 at the height of the dot com boom. With backgrounds in property and banking we figured that we knew what the market needed and got the collective backing of our employers at the time to build a simple, low cost web-based property management system. We designed the data models, we created a look and feel and we launched a prototype – then the dot bomb dropped and our project was terminated. The End.
Not quite – we loved our product and the vision of giving everyone “mypropertyinfo.com”. So we continued and set up OpenEra Systems Ltd in October 2001 to keep the vision alive….and we have….and six years later we launch Reavia. It is the culmination of thousands of hours of listening, thinking, doing, serving, supporting, discussing and listening. We know what you want and what to do, because we have been rehearsing for so long – now the rehearsal is over and the curtain is about to rise.
We are not big, or especially clever, but we are dedicated to our task of creating easy-to-use property systems that are accessible, affordable and beautiful. We believe that Reavia is all of these things.
We hate the old first generation property systems that most real estate advisors have been forced to use. Too expensive, too inflexible, too dull.
We like the second generation upstarts that have created a new way of doing things by moving property information online and offering choice.
We love what the web can do and we want to bring it to our industry and that’s why we are launching Reavia – real estate 2.0 - bringing together data, documents, media, mapping, collaboration and multi-channel access to offer the most exciting way to get the most from your portfolio.
If you are happy managing your portfolio by spreadsheet then Reavia is not for you. Stick with Excel.
